What to expect
A different way to experience Teide National Park: 4-hour two-seater buggy tours climb from sea level through pine forest to the lava landscapes at 2,200 metres. Routes follow back roads not accessible to coaches, with photo stops at the dramatic Roques de García rock formations and the colourful slopes of Montaña Blanca. Drivers must hold a valid licence; passengers can be 6+. Helmets, goggles and full briefings provided. Tours typically include a pickup from southern resorts and a stop for lunch in a mountain village. Dusty in summer, magnificent year-round.
Expert Tip
Book the morning slot — afternoon clouds often obscure the high views.
