What to expect
Twin-seater jet-ski tours leave hourly from Puerto Colón in Adeje and follow the south coast for 1.5 hours, passing hidden coves, sea caves and dolphin pods. Routes vary by tide and conditions but typically include Diego Hernández cove and Los Cristianos harbour with a stop for swimming. No previous experience required (10-minute briefing in the marina), but you must hold a valid driving licence. Speed limits are strictly enforced inside marina zones. Most operators include GoPro photos. A surprisingly tranquil way to see the coast — the engines are quieter than you'd expect.

Wear a swimsuit — you'll get wet, and operators stop for a swim mid-tour.
