What to expect
Sit-on-top kayaking from Playa Paraíso along the Costa Adeje coastline brings you face-to-face with green sea turtles, schools of needlefish and the occasional dolphin pod — all without an engine. Two-hour guided trips include a snorkel stop at a sheltered cove where turtles regularly graze. The kayaks are stable enough for total beginners and groups are kept small (8 max). Wetsuit shorts, mask and snorkel are provided. The morning sessions offer the calmest seas and the best light for underwater photography.

The 8 am tour usually has the best turtle encounters and zero crowds at the snorkel cove.
