Snorkel Tour at Tabaiba Reef

What to expect

Tabaiba on the south-east coast is one of Tenerife's marine reserves, and the volcanic reef just offshore is teeming with life: sea bream, ornate wrasse, parrotfish, octopus, and large schools of damselfish. Guided snorkel trips include wetsuit, mask, snorkel and a 90-minute swim with a marine biologist who points out species and explains the volcanic geology. Suitable for confident swimmers from age 10. The water is calm and shallow (3–6 metres) which makes underwater photography easy. Combine with lunch at one of Radazul's seafront restaurants.

Expert Tip

Bring an underwater camera — the visibility regularly exceeds 15 metres.
