The editor's take
Carved into the cliffs below the Ritz-Carlton Abama, this small private cove is one of Tenerife's most exclusive beaches. Imported white sand, attentive butler service, and a beach restaurant with views all the way to La Gomera make it feel more Caribbean than Canarian. Access for non-guests is technically allowed via a steep public path, but in practice the cove operates as a hotel amenity. The water is calm, sheltered by rocky outcrops, and the sunsets — facing west across the channel — are among the best on the island.
Insider Tip
Book a Ritz-Carlton spa day to legally access the cove for 6+ hours.
