The editor's take
Fañabé blends the golden sand and calm water of its more famous neighbour Del Duque with a livelier, more accessible vibe. Stretching 700 metres in front of a row of four-star resorts, it offers the full beach-club experience — sun loungers, paddleboard rentals, banana boats — without the extreme price tag. The promenade behind is one of the prettiest in the south, with restaurants sharing terraces overlooking the sand. The water is shallow for a long way out, ideal for families, and the protected bay means you can swim laps along the shore in safety.
