Built directly above the black-sand cove of La Arena and across the bay from the towering Los Gigantes cliffs, Barceló Santiago has the best ocean view of any Tenerife adults-only hotel. Three infinity pools cascade down the cliff, and most of the 408 rooms have a sea-view balcony. Recent refurbishments have lifted the rooms into proper 4-star plus territory; the Royal Level upgrade adds a private lounge and à la carte breakfast. Five restaurants and three bars work on a flexible all-inclusive model. The cliffside walk into Puerto de Santiago for evening tapas is one of the great resort sundowner walks in Tenerife. Best for couples who want sea-view luxury with character and authenticity.
