The full review
Designed by Leonardo Omar to mimic the structure of a coral reef, Corales Beach is the most architecturally ambitious adults-only resort in Spain. Every one of its 235 suites has a sea-view terrace and most have private plunge pools. The design language is white concrete, blonde wood and curved organic lines that frame the Atlantic at every turn. There are six restaurants on site (including the Michelin-star San Hô by Hideki Matsuhisa pupil), an infinity rooftop pool, and a thalasso spa that uses Tenerife seawater. Service is polished but warmer than its big-resort neighbours, and the location in La Caleta — Tenerife's emerging dining village — means you can easily walk out for dinner. Best for design-conscious couples who want the refinement of a city hotel with beach proximity.
The most contemporary architecture and the best rooftop pool in Tenerife.
